Welcome to North Zone Pedicriticon

Respected Seniors, Dear colleagues and young budding Pediatricians
Greetings from The Holy City- Sri Amritsar

On behalf of IAP Intensive Care Chapter and the Organizing Committee, it is my privilege and pleasure to cordially invite you all to 1st North Zone Pedicriticon conference being hosted by Department of Pediatrics, Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Sri Amritsar, Punjab from 26th April - 28th April 2024 (Workshop on 26th April, 2024).

Right from the word 'Go', we have set ourselves in mission mode to make this prestigious event a once in life time experience for the participants. Taking care of the gross exigencies as well as micro detailing our team is meticulously planning the rich academics, comfortable stay and memorable sightseeing.

In consultation with the stalwarts of Pediatric Intensive Care and office bearers of IAP Intensive Care Chapter, we shall dish out an academic feast encompassing all fields related to Pediatric Intensive Care, capable of satisfying everybody's quest for knowledge, setting a futuristic road map for the subject and further enhancing its prestige among the medical fraternity.

Besides academics, a visit to the holy city of Amritsar is on the bucket list of almost all Indians and that is not without a reason. Amritsar Historically known as Ramdaspur was founded by Sri Guru Ram Das Ji, the Fourth Guru of the Sikhs in 1574 A.D. Situated just 28 km from the Indo Pak border, this second largest city in Indian state of Punjab is a major religious, cultural, and economic center. I can assure you that your visit to the holy city will be a memorable one. You can soak yourself in the spiritual tranquility of Shri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple), fill yourself with patriotic fervour at Wagha border and a profound sense of solemnity at Jallianwala Bagh that witnessed the devastating events of April 13, 1919. You can also visit Bhagwan Valmiki Tirth Sthal, Durgiana Mandir, Gobindgarh Fort, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum and Sada Pind (our village) while tickling your taste buds all through the day with classical Amritsari delicacies.

Amritsar's extensive connectivity to all major cities of India via rail, road and air routes will help you chalk out an easy and comfortable travel plan.

Kindly save the dates. The famous Amritsari hospitality awaits you.

Jee Aayan Nu
